Obelisco del Cinc d'Oros in Barcelona: History and curiosities

The Cinc d'Oros obelisk, located at the intersection between Paseo de Gràcia and Diagonal in Barcelona, ​​is one of the most outstanding monuments of the city. With a height of 23 meters, this obelisk was built in 1936 to pay homage to the president of the First Spanish Republic, Francesc Pi i Margall, and to the republicans in general.
