The La Flor de Maig Cooperative is an entity with a long history of solidarity. It was founded in 1890, they followed the philosophy based on the savings of English weavers. Its headquarters on Calle de Martí Molins opened in 1902, but the cooperative was founded twelve years earlier. It became one of the most powerful cooperatives in Catalonia, with several branches. The one in Sant Andreu opened its doors in 1902.
